Commence by reserving your TukTuk. Select the pickup date, time, location, and the return date, time, and location & confirm the booking following the subsequent guidelines.

Select your extras

Select any extra item to enhance your vacation experience, opt for a Bluetooth speaker, a cool box, a baby seat, or a surfboard rack.

Collect your SriLankan driving permit

Your Sri Lanka driving permit will be ready on the pickup date with your TukTuk. Ensure the submission of your passport photo, both sides of the National driving license, and the driver's photo contact us through WhatsApp once booking done

Take your TukTuk driving lesson

Upon finalizing the reservation, reach out via WhatsApp for discuss regarding the pickup schedule and location. Your TukTuk driving instructor will be punctual for the scheduled session.

During our trip around Sri Lanka, we rented a tuk-tuk for 10 days — and it was such an amazing experience! Our initial fear of driving ourselves disappeared right away after the thorough driving lesson. The tuk-tuk was brand new and ran perfectly. Communication was always smooth whenever we had questions along the way.
We can only recommend this — we had so much fun! The traffic in Sri Lanka is chaotic, but we still felt safe at all times. We also received our deposit back promptly and without any issues. We definitely recommend renting one here and taking on the adventure!

We rented a tuk-tuk from this company for 23 days. Before renting, I contacted the company, and they were extremely helpful and transparent in answering all my questions: rental price, security deposit, contract terms, and potential issues. They even sent me the rental contract in advance so I could read it calmly.

When I arrived at their office, I was able to review the contract again, inspect the tuk-tuk, ask further questions, and do a one-hour test drive—which was very helpful. Only after making sure I was comfortable with everything did they ask for the payment, in cash and in the local currency as I had requested.

The rental went perfectly: the tuk-tuk was reliable and fun to drive. Whenever we needed assistance, the company was quick to help. The only minor issue was that we had to change the oil, but even then they assisted us by calling the shop through my phone to make sure we bought the correct one and knew how to replace it.

Upon returning the tuk-tuk, the staff inspected it as per the contract, confirmed everything was fine, and refunded the entire deposit—plus reimbursed the cost of the oil, exactly as agreed.

We highly recommend this company: trustworthy, honest, punctual, and with lower prices than competitors. A truly great experience!

We hired a new tuk tuk off this company for 15 days. Every step was easy even though our booking was quite last minute they were able to help us out.

From arranging a Sri Lankan license which is mandatory now to a driving lesson it was all quite professional - more than we expected.

We picked up in Kandy and delivered back to Negombo (both are main offices so there are no extra fees - but they can pick up a lot of other places for a fee)

They also offer train transfer so for example if you wanted to get the train from Kandy to Ella they will arrange someone to drive your tuk tuk and have it waiting for you when you arrive. We didn’t use this service but I thought if we had known earlier we may have used it!

We had such a special trip with the help of Tuk tuk rental Ceylon! Our tuk tuk was in perfect condition, no troubles throughout our 1 month trip. The crew were so responsive if we had any questions, we felt well looked after. It’s such a great way to explore Sri Lanka and has been the highlight of our 5 month holiday so far. Deposit fully refunded without issues. Highly recommend!

Me and my girlfriend hired a tuk tuk for 22 days in Sri Lanka we had the best time and saw lots that we wouldn’t have seen by bus. The introduction gets you to grips with how to drive it and the company are very useful if anything isn’t right

Me and my partner hired a new 2025 Tuk Tuk for 2 weeks but we extended to 5 because we absolutley loved it 🥰. It gave us so much freedom to explore Sri Lanka in the way we wanted and go to all the places that we wanted to go to 👌🏻. The service and communication from Tuk Tuk Rental Ceylon has been fantastic from start to finish. The whole process was very easy and there staff members were always there if we had any problems or questions, thank you so much to all the staff, you do great work ❤️ and we highly recommend this company to anyone wanting to hire a Tuk Tuk in Sri Lanka 5⭐️

Great experience renting a tuk tuk from this company. Super smooth booking process accomplished the evening before the tuk tuk was then delivered to our hotel the next day. Very friendly instructor who showed us the ropes before we took to the hills above Kandy to explore. Really great way to see the surrounding towns and countryside and really recommend this company!

We rented a tuk-tuk for 12 days. Both pickup and drop-off were very easy, as we could choose the time and location ourselves. We were even able to drop off the tuk-tuk a day earlier and at a different location. On the first day, you receive a briefing and driving lesson. If you encounter any problems, you can contact the company via WhatsApp. We definitely recommend Tuk Tuk Rental Ceylon, and it's also more affordable than some other rental companies.

We had the best time with the Tuk Ceylon aRound Sri Lanka! We drive it for one month, and it was an amazing experience.
Since the beginning, we had all the support we needed!

Tuk Tuk rental Ceylon have a great service and quality Tuk Tuk! Not only are they one of the best priced companies it was one of the best companies we’ve used.!

They have options for 2025 TukTuks and normal we had a normal one and it was great started everytime and we had no issues.!

The service was seamless we messaged on WhatsApp and they arrange everything for you. We actually messaged on a Sunday and they managed to sort my Sri Lankan license as well as a Tuk Tuk for the next day.

When we got there you have some paperwork to fill and a quick driving lesson as well as basic maintenance then we were off. We paid a small deposit for the Tuk Tuk that was reimbursed to us within a few days after returning.

We took the Tuk Tuk from Negombo to Kandy over the course of a week. and they pick it back up there so we could continue our trip on the train. (If needed they will even drive the Tuk Tuk to Ella for you so you can keep it after.

Overall I cannot recommend them enough.! Friendly staff and always a WhatsApp away if you need anything.

Great experience from start to finish. Extremely responsive company that keeps you in the loop from the moment you initiate the booking process through the pickup and finally the return of the tuktuk (which feels like saying goodbye to a new friend, you'll get attached to the little vehicle in no time). They are super flexible in case you want to extend or shorten your booking. I urge anyone who wants to explore the island on their own terms to look no further and rent a tuktuk from these people. A condition is that you can handle the traffic, which can be pretty chaotic in larger cities. Prior experience in driving a manual motor vehicle is recommended.

Hired a tuktuk for 4 weeks and had an amazing time. Brand new tuktuk, free lesson beforehand, insurance covered. Everything very smooth and easy. Would highly recommend hiring a tuktuk with this company.

Tuktuk Rental Ceylon was the perfect choice for exploring Sri Lanka in an authentic and fun way 🚀. Tuk-tuks are ideal for navigating the narrow, bustling streets of this beautiful country. The service was impeccable: easy to book, reasonable prices.
They take care of your driving lessons, explain everything related to tuktuks, and process your driver's license—in short, everything was super easy.
And they are responsive to any issues or questions via phone or WhatsApp.
They are very helpful and make sure everything goes smoothly and that you enjoy your experience.

The flexibility to pick up and drop off the tuk-tuks at different locations was a huge plus 👍. The employees were friendly and attentive to everything.

I definitely recommend Tuktuk Rental Ceylon for an unforgettable adventure in Sri Lanka.

Toby the Tuk Tuk!

We had Toby for around 2 weeks from Tuk Tuk rental Ceylon and we enjoyed driving around a lot!

We were able to get it delivered to Ella for a fee as it’s not one of their main depots and made life easy getting around Sri Lanka!

One of the main highlights was being able to take surfboards ourselves which was probably its most useful function!

The rental was more affordable compared to others such as Tuk Tuk rental.

The negatives were that the Tuk Tuk brake fluid seemed to leak a little and the oil was burning a bit and both needed topping up a few times. If you’re not mechanically minded this would be something you’d be worried about but it wasn’t too much trouble for us.

They didn’t supply the surf rack at first when we got the Tuk Tuk (it was paid for) and had to get it delivered to Arugam bay the following day. It additionally didn’t come with good straps so I had to buy some not a major issue just a little frustrating.

Also it took much longer to get the deposit refunded than mentioned - supposed to be one week but took 3.

Overall enjoyed the experience and would recommend them just hope Tuk Tuk rental Ceylon take more care in future of Tuk before giving to customers.

Making sure no mechanical issues exist, every item booked is on the Tuk tuk first time and deposits are refunded more promptly for renters. People on vacations want hassle free experiences.
